Join our team and be part of a dynamic new concept cafe!
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook short-order menu items, including griddle classics (burgers, sandwiches, eggs, etc.) and fried foods, ensuring consistent quality
Operate and maintain griddles, fryers, and other kitchen equipment efficiently.
Assist in the production of high-quality, handcrafted ice creams, and other frozen desserts, following established recipes and techniques.
Monitor ingredient freshness and ensure proper food storage, dating, and handling in compliance with food safety regulations.
Work efficiently under pressure to fulfil orders quickly while maintaining high standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including regular cleaning of workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
Assist in inventory management, stock rotation, and ingredient preparation to support smooth kitchen operations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff and service staff to ensure a seamless workflow and excellent customer experience.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a short-order cooking, fast-paced kitchen, or ice cream production role is preferred.
Food safety level 1 certificate or willingness to take the course.
Ability to work efficiently on the griddle and fryer while multitasking in a busy environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
Willingness to learn and follow ice cream production techniques.
Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff during peak hours.
Ability to follow recipes and food safety guidelines with precision.
