Digital Content Producer
The Methodist Church in Singapore (MCS) is a connectional church comprising the General Conference, three Annual Conferences, local churches, and various agencies and organisations. The General Conference (GC) is the highest body of the MCS, responsible for legislation, policy, and the overseeing of its various agencies, including the programme agencies responsible for education, missions, and welfare services.
We have a vacancy for Digital Content Producer.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and create digital content and/or assets for key communications platforms targeting different audiences. These include social media, website, digital magazine and others. Understand social platform algorithms and how content can be repurposed for different platforms.
- Graphic design for communications collaterals including social media graphics, publicity e-posters or advertisements.
- Copy writing for social media posts, digital magazine and campaigns.
- Videography including filming (with mobile devices) and video editing for social media.
- Photography for events including photo editing as part of news coverage.
- Ideation and conceptualisation of campaigns for projects and events.
- Management of creative projects from concept to delivery including engaging and coordination with external production agencies and aligning internal stakeholders.
- Monitor digital content in the ecosystem, keeping abreast with key trends and developments. Introduce and oversee new and relevant digital media platforms
- Work with and support different members in the Communications team to deliver communications content that is engaging, timely, and relevant.
Job Requirements
- Degree from an established institution or university with at least 5 years of relevant working experience as a digital content creator, social media/web writer, graphic designer or videographer.
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills as well as proficiency in digital content tools, including graphic design, video production, photography and editing.
- Creative and able to conceptualise engaging content.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and campaigns.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
- Ability to work across different communications platforms – magazine, social media, website.
