We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Senior Manager, Regional Procurement to join our Procurement team at Suntory Beverage & Food Asia Pacific. This position plays a key role in enabling the procurement function to be a best-in-class function, capable of delivering value in an efficient and effective manner, bringing the best from outside-in. You will be responsible in leading the procurement of goods, material and services that delivers the best total value to the company, developing and executing category sourcing management, delivering financial targets, stakeholder management, risk management, key supplier relationship management, supply assurance and systems /processes in alignment with SBFI and SBFAP strategy.
Job Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Align procurement with operational goals, provide strategic updates, and partner with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Risk Management: Assess and manage procurement risks, develop contingency plans, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Sourcing & Negotiations: Develop procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Innovation: Collaborate on innovation opportunities, stay informed on market trends, and make strategic decisions to mitigate risks.
  • Process Management: Ensure effective Procure to Pay processes, document SOPs, and use data for decision-making.
  • Contract Management: Lead contract negotiations, review compliance, and manage non-standard agreements.
  • Sustainability: Implement sustainability targets, promote ethical sourcing, and work with suppliers to improve sustainability.
  • Team Development: Coach and develop team members, ensure safety, and manage hazards and incidents.
Skills and Experience
  • Regional Procurement Leadership / Strategic Sourcing (End to End over various roles) / Team management
  • Have accountability and responsibility for product and materials planning in a supply chain function
  • Minimum 5 years in relevant experience in a multinational environment
  • Functional knowledge in different aspects of Procurement and Planning, such as sourcing, category management processes and tools, project management, S&OP, demand forecasting, production planning & inventory control
  • Experience in SAP
  • Commercial negotiation
  • Supplier and Stakeholder relationship management
  • Risk management skillsets
