Location: Bangalore

Business & Team:

Technology Team is responsible for the world leading application of technology and operations across every aspect of CommBank, from innovative product platforms for our customers to essential tools within our business. We also use technology to drive efficient and timely processing, an essential component of great customer service.

The Group Security (Technology) team protects the Bank and our customers from cyber compromise, through proactive management of cyber security, privacy, and operational risk. Our team includes:

  • Identity & Access Technology

  • Cyber Strategy & Performance

  • Cyber Security Centre

  • Cyber Protection & Design

  • Cyber Delivery

  • Cyber Data Engineering

Impact & Contribution:

The Product owner is responsible for the end-to-end strategy& development of capability that supports product/products within a squad. You will partner with various stakeholders internal & external to deliver initiatives to achieve a fantastic customer experience, balancing commercial outcomes and managing risk within regulatory requirements and organizational risk appetite. You will be required to maintain and build productive relationships with:

  • Business Stakeholders, Project Sponsor, Benefits

  • Sponsor, Change Owner, and Project Steering Group

  • Crew Leads and Chapter leads

  • Business Analysts and Solution Designer

  • Release Management Team

  • Administration and operational support teams

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Understand our customers' core business objectives and build end-to-end service centric solutions to address them.

  • Defining squad product vision, goals and roadmap aligned with the Workforce Identity Lifecycle Crew & Own Crew

  • Leading and developing a squad of Software Engineers to support maintenance of Identity Platforms like SailPoint

  • IIQ and Identity Manager while creating a psychologically safe, inclusive, autonomous, accountable, and high-performance culture.

  • Developing and designing new automations or enhancing existing ones to address identified needs or opportunities.

  • Building and prioritizing the Squad backlog in collaboration with key stakeholders. Design and build continuous improvement initiatives to support the technology assets pertaining to the crew

  • Identifying risk, dependencies, and issues for the squad in line with excellent management of operational risk and compliance outcomes.

  • Manage development, distribution and baseline approval of all communication related to business requirement and their interpretation. Participate in the full lifecycle of agile projects (ideation through implementation).

  • Your ability to collaborate with peers along individuals with different experiences and backgrounds is key. Develop a continuous improvement mindset in team and project interactions.

  • Apply a risk management approach to achieve consistency and compliance with CBA standards.

  • We expect from our people. SLA’s (Service Level Agreements), SLOs (Service Level Objectives) and financial targets and results (Service Delivery Components) are achievable and adequate Involvement in any audits of the services within your control and managing any subsequent follow-up activities.

Essential Skills:

  • Must have at least 12+ years of IT experience in Identity Access Management Extensive experience in SailPoint Identity IQ

  • Experience in a technology focused leadership role, including high levels or prioritization and stakeholder management.

  • Identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement within the team and in delivery of products.

  • Provide mentoring and technical assistance to other members of the team, produce high quality, sustainable solutions to meet business requirements, leveraging approved delivery frameworks and applying industry best practice.

  • Provide technical governance of product delivery to ensure successful delivery and adoption.

  • Translation of product vision to roadmap and backlog Advanced technology delivery skills in Agile methodology Advanced experience in building empowered teams Advanced commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Experience in Cloud & DevOps are desirable

  • Domain experience in finance, banking, Insurance

Education Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
