Job Requirements:
PhD in Metallurgy, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
Strong publication record and/or relevant industry experience.
Proven expertise in materials development for energy-related research such as fusion, fission, hydrogen, or other advanced energy systems.
Experience with materials characterization techniques and performance evaluation in extreme environments.
Solid understanding of metallurgy, material degradation mechanisms, and structural integrity analysis.
Ability to work independently with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
Strong problem-solving abilities and effective teamwork skills.
