The Nurse Manager (Clinical) oversees and coordinates the clinical services for direct patient care and ensures delivery of the highest quality care. Reporting to both the Strategic Operations Director and the Medical Director, this role manages and supervises the nursing staff, ensures regulatory compliance, and collaborates with the medical providers and staff to optimize patient experience, promote evidence-based practices, and uphold clinical standards. The Nurse Manager (Clinical) is also responsible for nursing staff development, including recruitment, training, continuing education, and performance evaluation. This role requires strong clinical expertise, leadership abilities, and commitment to exemplary patient-centered care to provide exceptional healthcare services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Concierge Services Management: Oversee and enhance concierge services, ensuring tailored care and continuous attention to specific individuals or groups. Implement strategies to provide and achieve exemplary service delivery and patient satisfaction.
- Oversee Daily Clinical Operations: Ensure a gold standard of patient care.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance: Ensure the clinic complies with all applicable healthcare regulations, standards, and guidelines. This includes maintaining accurate documentation, implementing infection control measures, and following best practices to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.
- Leadership and Management: Lead clinic staff, foster a culture of excellence in clinical outcomes and service experience, and encourage open communication between team members, supporting staff (internal and external) and providers.
- Resource Optimization: Optimize resource utilization and manage costs efficiently and effectively.
- Strategy and Innovation: Develop and implement strategies to enhance clinical care and patient satisfaction.
- Operational Oversight: Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care and clinic operations.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement work processes to optimize patient outcomes, satisfaction, and safety.
- Staff Supervision: Oversee the daily activities of the nursing team, including scheduling workload distribution, ensure adequate staffing levels, and foster a positive work environment.
- Performance evaluation: Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, address performance issues, and implement strategies for professional growth.
- Manpower Planning: Support recruitment and retention strategies to deliver the highest-quality care and exceptional patient experiences.
- Training and Mentorship: Provide orientation, guidance, and professional development to support junior nurses and new hires.
- Holistic Patient Care: Ensure comprehensive and tailored patient care that meets medical and comfort needs.
- Patient and Caregiver Education: Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and caregivers.
- Clinical Assistance: Support physicians/ providers to ensure effective communication, interdisciplinary teamwork, and optimal patient care.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Promote interdisciplinary collaboration between all relevant teams, such as administration, operations, and support staff, to ensure seamless coordination of patient care, effective communication, and efficient clinic operations.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory to ensure the availability of high-quality supplies and equipment.
- Continuous education: Stay updated with nursing practice, healthcare regulations, and industry trends.
- Ad-hoc - plan and executive task(s) required as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Advanced Diploma in Oncology Nursing preferred.
- 5-7 years of managerial experience in a high-end private outpatient clinic setting.
- Demonstrated leadership, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, positivity mindset, proficiency in clinical software, commitment to patient-centered care and service experience, quality improvement, and high standards of comfort and luxury.
- Adaptability to evolving healthcare environments.
