As a disability learning hub, we rally partners from the education, business and disability sectors to provide responsive and quality learning opportunities for persons with disabilities, and to enable their network of support through training.

Enabling Academy aims to bring fresh ideas and build capabilities in the training space to:

  • Provide diverse lifelong learning opportunities for persons with disabilities that support them in their personal growth and professional development
  • Upskill the network of support – including employers, sector professionals such as job coaches, and caregivers – around persons with disabilities
  • Facilitate the practice of accessibility and inclusion among training providers

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Collaboration with Internal Business Units

  • Partner with internal teams to establish and enhance the Network of Support (NoS) for persons with disabilities.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of the ecosystem to support business units in achieving their learning objectives for NoS stakeholders, including disability employment professionals, employers, and caregivers.


2. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Engage with persons with disabilities and various NoS stakeholders to collaborate on understanding and addressing their training needs.
  • Facilitate training needs analysis to assess skills requirements and identify gaps in competencies, systems, capabilities, and training.

3. Learning Roadmap Development

Develop, implement, and regularly refresh learning roadmaps and training plans tailored for different stakeholder groups.


4. Training Programme Structuring

Structure, plan, and implement training programmes and initiatives aimed at strengthening the capabilities of stakeholders to improve employment and employability outcomes for persons with disabilities.


5. Collaboration with Training Providers

Engage local and overseas training providers to design, contextualise, deliver and refresh training courses and programmes that meet the specific needs of stakeholders.


6. Training Programme Administration

Administer training programmes, including marketing, awareness raising, course administration, outcome tracking, reporting and other related tasks.


7. Additional Responsibilities

Perform any additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by the organisation to support its mission and goals.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
  • At least Diploma holder in any discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience
  • Applicants who are familiar with the disability / social impact sector and training / education industry, would have an added advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholders’ engagement, and the ability to communicate ideas clearly
  • Good command of English, able to write, present and communicate well
  • Team player with the ability to work under tight deadlines, adaptable to changing circumstances, resourceful in problem solving and meticulous
  • Proficient in Outlook, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint
