We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Director to lead our finance team and drive the financial direction of the company. The Finance Director will oversee financial operations, budgeting, reporting, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. This role requires a dynamic leader who can provide insights for business growth, optimize financial performance, and work closely with senior leadership to make strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of the company’s financial strategy, aligning with business objectives and growth goals.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to senior management, ensuring clear communication of financial performance.
- Manage the company’s financial planning process, including budget preparation, financial forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement in profitability and cost-efficiency.
- Provide recommendations and strategic insights to senior leadership to enhance business decision-making and financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and corporate governance requirements.
- Oversee cash flow management, ensuring the business maintains optimal liquidity and financial stability.
- Lead and manage the company’s risk management strategy, identifying financial risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Develop and maintain financial models, reports, and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial health.
- Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.
- Coordinate and manage external audits, tax filings, and compliance-related activities.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting tools.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions, providing financial analysis and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, ACCA is a plus).
- At least 15 years of experience in finance roles, a high performer with significant experience in financial management, strategy, and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Experience with financial systems, ERP software, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance.
- Proven track record of successfully leading finance teams and driving business growth.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and present it in a clear, actionable format for senior leadership.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
