Key Responsibilities


The Manager for Solutions and Implementation will be responsible to design, develop and implement logistics and distributions solutions to meet the unique needs of both aviation and non-aviation clients within the SATS group.

This role requires deep understanding on logistical challenges, international freight, distribution and warehouse operations to have the ability to design innovative and practical solutions to optimize efficiency, reduce cost and ultimately drive value for customers.


  • Network Optimization: Assist BU heads to assess and optimize current distribution network, including transportation routes, warehouse locations, and distribution channels, to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Solutioning: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, define objectives and developed customized logistics and distribution strategies aligned with business goals
  • Implementation: Develop detailed implementation plans, timelines and resource requirements for deploying logistics and distribution solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes
  • Performance Monitoring and KPIs: Work with respective BU to monitor performance, analyze data, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments/business units, including procurement, manufacturing, sales, and customer service, to optimize end-to-end supply chain processes and address any issues or challenges that arise.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate and be actively involved in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency, and drive cost savings throughout the logistics, freight, warehouse, and distribution function.

Key Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor degree or its equivalent in supply chain, engineering and/or related functions.
  • Minimum of 7 years relevant working experience in Supply Chain, Distribution/Logistics related roles,
  • With strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain, with direct hands-on operational experience in logistics / transportation / warehousing / inventory management preferred.
  • Lean practice and Change management experience within logistics operations environment is valued.
  • Knowledge in Network Optimization and Cost-to-Serve will be an advantage.
  • Effective problem solving, root cause analytical skills to lead and influence others to drive change (cross functionally and globally).
  • Understand key business, country and industry drivers.
  • Demonstrated collaboration, negotiation & conflict resolution skills.
  • Able to work independently in a fast paced, dynamic and high intensity environment.
