Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain full set of accounts, with monthly and annual reports.
- Process accounts payable, account receivable and general ledger transactions, including entering invoices, preparing payments and reconciling bank statements.
- Knowledge in GST returns filling, process staff salaries, CPF & reimbursements. Prepare GST tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.
- Managing incoming invoices and ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers. Tracking customer payments, following up on overdue accounts, and issuing reminders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems for financial documents.
- Process payroll transactions in the organisation's accounting system.
- Assist in the monthly financial closing and reporting, quarterly group reporting and year-end audit.
- Participate in internal and external financial audits. Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures. Implement and review financial controls to mitigate risks.
- Perform other accounting, administrative and operational duties assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification
- Professional accreditation and prior audit experience / accounting experience will be considered favourably
- Minimum 2 years financial related experience
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills
- Self-motivated and independent problem solver who is proactive with a strong sense of ownership
- Accustomed to multitasking, prioritizing and meeting deadlines
- Meticulous with keen attention to detail
