As a statutory board in the Ministry of Digital Development and Information (MDDI), IMDA promotes and regulates the infocomm and media sectors.
You will play an individual contributor role in maintaining and enhancing the HR systems infrastructure, ensuring that the HR team is equipped with best-in-class enabling tools for seamless day-to-day operations and data-driven decision-making. This role is crucial in addressing challenges arising from Workday implementation and driving critical HR process improvements. You will be responsible for architecting approaches to improve the management, governance, and analysis of HR data, with a focus on data integrity and accuracy. Additionally, you will champion the automation and digitisation of HR operations processes, emphasising efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities
1) Workday Optimisation and Enhancement
- Address challenges in Workday, including reducing additional manual work for Super Users and resolving difficulties faced by end users
- Drive strategic enhancements through Workday Change Requests, balancing individual agency needs with WOG feasibility
- Collaborate closely with HR leads to align Workday with evolving business requirements
2) Process Automation and User Experience Improvement
- Implement/maintain Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to streamline laborious processes, significantly reducing manual effort
- Explore, evaluate, and implement Workday-compatible tools to complement existing systems to meet business needs
- Spearhead projects aimed at enhancing user experience and leveraging data analytics, such as implementing employee engagement tools
3) System Management and Integration
- Maintain and improve HR data systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance through enhancements, proactive troubleshooting, and comprehensive account reviews
- Lead collaboration efforts with internal HR and IT teams, as well as external vendors to run User Acceptance Testing (UAT), support IT audits, and ensure system compliance
- Efficiently manage and prioritise change requests, incident reports, and service requests to minimise disruptions and maximise system uptime
4) Data Analytics and Reporting
- Lead initiatives to improve data quality and integrity across HR systems, enhancing the accuracy and usefulness of reports and analytics
- Implement data management best practices to streamline reporting processes and reduce manual data manipulation
- Leverage analytics tools to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for HR process improvements
Requirements:
5 to 8 years of relevant working experience
Proven ability to manage complex projects with tight timelines and multiple stakeholders
Experience in process automation, digital transformation, and data analytics
Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities
Experience with Workday or similar HR platforms is highly desirable
