RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the Head of Finance (ASIA), you will:

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Provide strategic leadership to the Finance Department to support business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and cross-disciplinary teams to drive business success.
  • Manage and mentor a multicultural finance team, fostering collaboration across international offices.

Financial Management

  • Oversee financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure operational excellence and compliance.
  • Provide regular, data-driven updates to the CEO and leadership team on key financial metrics.
  • Manage relationships with outsourced accounting firms to ensure timely and accurate accounting, tax filings, payroll, and reporting.
  • Lead the preparation of audited year-end accounts and tax computations in collaboration with external advisors.

Strategic Insights & Planning

  • Drive Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to provide actionable insights and recommendations for business growth.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic forecasts and the company’s business plan.
  • Lead fundraising efforts, including strategy development, investor relations, and securing funding for growth.
  • Support strategic projects such as finance transformation, corporate restructuring, and expansion planning.

Operational Excellence

  • Manage R&D tax credits and capitalisation tables, including EMI stock option grants and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, implementing best practices to enhance financial operations.
  • Support key business functions such as grant writing, contract negotiations, departmental budget planning, inventory management, and manufacturing reviews.

Stakeholder Relations

  • Act as a trusted partner to investors and strategic partners, ensuring transparent and impactful communication.
  • Represent the finance function in discussions with global stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Provide clear, data-driven financial updates to shareholders, ensuring transparency and strategic alignment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • ACCA/CA/CPA certification is essential.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with a proven track record of financial management and leadership.
  • Strong expertise in international accounting practices, tax regulations, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience managing multicultural teams in a global environment.
  • Exceptional management, organizational, and analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with medical device marketing platforms, programs, and policies is a plus.
  • Experience with quality management systems and ISO standards (e.g., 13485, 14971, 60601).

Pay: $7,500.00 - $10,000.00 per month
