We are currently looking for a Human Resource Intern to assist the HR Team in Singapore to manage various HR functions across Singapore and Malaysia. Interested candidate must be able to commit from 1 March to 31 August 2025.

Through this Internship, you will be exposed to various HR functions which includes but not limited to below:

  • Talent Acquisition/Recruitment - Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies and headcount planning to meet organization goals. This includes full recruitment process from creating job description, advertising job vacancies, shortlisting and interviewing candidates to offering and preparation for onboarding.
  • Learning and Organization Development - To constantly work internally with HR and different departments and identify specific training needs and programs to ensure employees' skillsets and career development. To conduct new joins induction training or HRIS training as and when required.
  • Performance Management - Work closely with department heads to ensure effective performance evaluation (Probation Assessment, Mid-Year Review, Year End Appraisal) and develop performance-improvement-plans for employee. Conducting regular touch base with department heads and employees to get feedback and updates to ensure manpower is deployed at full efficiency.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement - Conducting regular touch base with department heads and employees to monitor employee’s satisfaction and get feedback and suggestions for improvement. Planning and execution of staff welfare activities and events such as Annual Dinner, Team building events and team celebrations. Involve and contribute to our organization regional newsletter committee to publish our quarterly newsletters.
  • HR Administration and HRIS system - Management of employee data in HRIS and personal files in HR SharePoint. Preparation of staff letters and adopt proper e-filing. Process monthly payroll which includes calculations of staff commissions and claims. Generate payroll reports and reconciliations for reporting. Validate and process invoices from various partners such as recruitment agencies, suppliers etc. Handle all work pass applications, renewal and cancellation if required.
  • Compensation and Benefits - Review and recommend compensation and benefits programs to ensure employees receives fair and competitive compensation packages which includes salaries, commissions, bonuses and company benefits. To act as point of contact for C&B and policy matters.
  • Payroll - Actively support in payroll functions to ensure employees receive accurate remuneration on time. Calculate and cross-check the accuracy of salaries and wages as well as additional incentives or deductions each individual employee may face. Ensure that current payroll practices followed by company and employees are aligned with labor laws including minimum wage, overtime wage and more.

Requirements:

  • Education Level: Undergraduates/Diploma students from Business Administration, Business Management, Human Resources Management or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Willingness to learn and explore new ventures
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication
  • Adept at active listening and conveying information
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
