E-COMMERCE & DIGITAL LEAD, JPAC
To fuel and sustain the growth and demand in the region, we are seeking an experienced and strategic E-commerce & Digital Lead, JPAC. The role is pivotal to ensure the E-commerce & Digital strategy is scalable and future-proof to support our ambitious growth plans. This role will be an integral member of the Regional Leadership Team.
1. Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive E-commerce & Digital strategy for the region, aligned with the company's global objectives and growth targets.
- Identify and mitigate risks within the digital landscape to ensure continuity and resilience.
- Lead the transformation of digital processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate across the organization to develop digital strategies improving systems and processes for improved efficiency.
- Lead and support efforts to generate and implement digital strategies to ensure continuous flow of digital initiatives to support and optimize Galderma business processes.
2. Operational Excellence:
- Oversee end-to-end digital operations including website management, digital marketing, and e-commerce platforms.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline operations and drive operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards across the region.
- Design digital processes to improve the existing ones including region-specific digital operations.
- Align with stakeholders to define and implement fit-for-purpose leading-edge digital processes and IT systems.
3. Future Growth and Scalability:
- Anticipate future digital needs based on market trends, technological advancements, and the company's growth trajectory.
- Develop scalable digital models that can adapt to new markets and products.
- Foster relationships with key digital partners to ensure capacity and flexibility for future demand.
4. Team Leadership & Development:
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of digital leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to deliver digital initiatives in alignment with the company goals and objectives.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation within the team.
- Develop talent and succession plans to ensure the long-term success of the digital function.
5. Budget & Financial Management:
- Manage the digital budget, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality or service.
- Drive initiatives to achieve cost savings and improve the financial performance of the digital operations.
6. Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with other regional and global digital leaders to share best practices and align strategies.
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership, providing insights and updates on digital performance and strategic initiatives.
- Partner with other departments such as sales, marketing, and product development to support the overall business strategy.
Requirement :
- BS/BA degree in a relevant field, MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in digital and e-commerce roles, with a significant portion in a leadership role within the regional leadership team.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful digital strategies in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong understanding of the region and markets, including regional regulations, cultural nuances, and business practices.
- Experienced leader, with a passion for building effective teams in the pursuit of bringing innovative digital solutions to customers. Must enjoy collaboration and teamwork.
- Experience across digital disciplines including digital marketing, e-commerce platforms, and IT systems.
- Data-driven and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strategic leadership with the ability to balance short-term objectives and long-term need for building a robust digital function.
