Role Overview

As a Production Intern, you will assist in the end-to-end production process of video content, from pre-production to post-production. You’ll gain hands-on experience in content creation, video shoots, editing, and social media trends. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about storytelling, digital media, and content production.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Production:

  • Assist in brainstorming and developing content ideas for social media videos, commercials, and brand shoots.
  • Support in scriptwriting, storyboarding, and shot list preparation.
  • Help coordinate shoot logistics, including scheduling, securing locations, and gathering necessary props and equipment.

Production:

  • Assist in setting up cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Support the production team during shoots, including operating cameras, recording behind-the-scenes footage, and helping with on-set coordination.
  • Ensure smooth execution of shoots by managing time and tracking shot lists.

Post-Production:

  • Organise and log raw footage for editing efficiency
  • Assist in basic video editing, colour correction, and sound design (if skilled in editing software like Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve).
  • Support in exporting, formatting, and optimising content for different social media platforms.

General Support:

  • Research trending content formats and viral concepts for inspiration.
  • Assist in managing production assets, including storing and maintaining equipment properly.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to deliver high-quality content that aligns with brand goals.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Media, Film, Communications, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of video production and editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro).
  • Familiarity with camera operations, lighting setups, and sound recording is a plus.
  • Passion for digital content, storytelling, and social media trends.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Team player with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $800.00 - $1,200.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental Pay:

  • Performance bonus

Willingness to travel:

  • 100% (Preferred)
