Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing the creation, implementation, and maintenance of master data management solutions. This role ensures that master data is accurate, consistent, and accessible across the organization. This role is also responsible for managing the operational analytics that are coming out from key SCM Projects such as Project SMART, Process Modernization and Transport Optimization.

General Responsibilities

  • Actively develop and implement Group-wide Data Governance strategy and the adoption of the data governance framework and policy, incorporating best practices and industry standards across different jurisdictions where the DKSH Group operates.
  • Work closely with CSSC to develop, implement, and maintain a holistic data protection framework and policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in data governance.
  • Lead transformation projects governing data management in SCM including standardization of units of measure and migration of transactional activities to BPO wherever possible
  • Develop data dashboards across the SCM organization ensuring data analytics support is provided whenever needed.
  • Actively contribute to the development and continuous evolution of the data governance processes and best practices in line with the DKSH strategies and objectives, along with evolving industry practices.
  • Serve as a liaison between business units, SCM, other functions with CSSC to ensure data governance requirements are well understood and considered as part of operational prioritization and planning.
  • Be an agent of change and inculcate data governance culture and discipline across the DKSH business and technical processes.

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • Solid experience in using SAP MM module is required.
  • Background of data governance, data quality, risk management, technology or business operations, with at least 8 years of working experience.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of Data Governance discipline across the regulatory landscape.
  • Good understanding of risk management and compliance frameworks and related disciplines such as risk and control self-assessment
  • Good understanding of data management related disciplines, such as data privacy, data protection, data quality, metadata and master data management
  • Experience of working with Big Data platforms and Power BI
  • Good project management and facilitation skills, with the ability to manage different stakeholders across the enterprise and to navigate through conflicts with ease.
  • Demonstrated good leadership and excellent team player who possesses drive, proactivity and curiosity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written / oral communication skills and ability to translate ideas and strategies into actions.
  • Good experience in developing guideline and procedure documentations, as well as presentation materials
  • In depth understanding with strong experience of Transport Management and Project Management especially in Supply Chain projects
  • Sound understanding of Transport management and operation practices
  • Strong experience and capability in Fleet Management and including Network management
  • Must be proficient in MS Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Power BI, Microsoft Project, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams

Education

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Management or Management Information Systems or related fields. Background in Supply Chain Management and/or Material Master data management is a must.
  • Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)/ Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP) qualifications will have a plus.
