Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and creative Videography Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality video content, editing footage, and assisting with post-production corrections. This role is ideal for someone eager to hone their videography skills in a dynamic and creative environment, contributing to various projects, including weddings, events, and marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
1. Video Shooting
- Capture high-quality video footage during events, photoshoots, and other activities.
- Set up and operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment effectively.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure footage aligns with the creative vision and project goals.
2. Video Editing
- Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos using professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Add visual and sound effects, transitions, and music to enhance videos.
- Ensure edits meet brand guidelines and client expectations.
3. Post-Production Corrections
- Make necessary corrections to videos, including color grading, audio adjustments, and framing edits.
- Incorporate client feedback and ensure final deliverables meet quality standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques into projects.
4. Project Collaboration
- Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to brainstorm video concepts and storyboarding.
- Assist in planning video shoots, including creating shot lists and scripts.
- Support live streaming and other real-time video production tasks as needed.
5. Equipment Maintenance
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of all videography equipment.
- Organize and manage video files, maintaining a structured digital archive.
Skills & Qualifications
Essential
- Basic experience in videography and video editing (formal training or personal projects acceptable).
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with camera operation, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Creative storytelling skills with an eye for composition and detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred
- Experience with motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
- Knowledge of color grading and sound design.
- Previous experience in wedding or event videography is a plus.
