Responsibilities
· Main contact point for SFA and MUIS.
· The main person in charge of Food Safety Management System.
· Assist in guiding production team in implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement in production areas.
· Develop, review and update Food Safety Management System (eg. ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, HALAL certification and audits.
· Establish, review ISO/ FSSC study, food safety & quality policy, manual and SOP.
· Perform internal audit to ensure company’s standard compliance according to SFA /HALAL/ISO/FSSC requirement.
· Lead in sustaining SFA/ISO/FSSC yearly surveillance audit.
· Internal calibration and verification of equipment (thermometer etc)
· Conduct food safety/quality training to staff.
· Evaluate laboratory analysis and reports review to ensure food safety and quality aspects.
· Involving in regulatory, statutory and customer’s audits and assist in follow up corrective/ preventive actions.
· Liaise with suppliers and customers when necessary.
· Attend to Complaints/Customer visits/Customer and Regulatory audits
· Work with production teams to establish procedures, standards, systems
· Investigate and troubleshoot quality issues
· Work with R&D and Production team to ensure smooth execution of new products develop to mass production
Requirements
· Degree in Food Science and Technology or equivalent
· At least 3 years’ experience as QA / QC
· Relevant experience in food manufacturing sector will be an added advantage
· Understanding of FSSC / ISO22000 / Halal requirement is added advantage
· Positive working attitude with good adaptability
· 6 days’ work week (Monday to Saturday)
