Responsibilities:

  • Assemble electronic components and sub-assemblies according to schematics, diagrams, and work instructions.
  • Assemble and configure IT equipment such as computers, servers, networking devices, and peripherals.
  • Solder, crimp, and wire components using hand tools and automated equipment.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Perform functional testing of assembled units to verify proper operation.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose basic electronic and IT issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including component usage and test results.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production flow.
  • Identify and report any production problems or equipment malfunctions.

Qualifications:

  • Nitec, Diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electronics or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in electronics assembly and/or IT equipment assembly.
  • Strong understanding of electronic components and circuitry.
  • Proficiency in soldering, crimping, and wiring techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and work instructions.
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection techniques.
  • Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:
