Position Summary
- Generates new sales and grow share of wallet for company products through distributors/ OEMs.
- Provides front line support to distribution partners and dealers as necessary.
- Establishes, cultivates, and maintains key relationships with distributors/ OEMs.
- Coordinate between Factory and distributors/ OEMs and assist as required.
- Other ad-hoc duty as required.
Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identifying and researching potential leads and prospects.
- Engaging with prospects via cold calls, emails, networking, and other outreach methods.
- Qualifying leads to ensure they are good fit for the company’s products or services.
Sales & Relationship Management
- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with clients or business partners.
- Understanding client needs and tailoring offerings to meet those needs.
- Managing client accounts, ensuring satisfaction, and following up after sales.
- Negotiating and closing deals.
Market Research & Strategy Development
- Conducting market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activity, and new business opportunities and prepare report based on findings.
- Analyzing industry trends and data to understand market needs and potential gaps in service offerings.
- Collaborating with Group Manager to develop and implement business development strategies.
Networking & Partnerships
- Representing the company at networking events, conferences, and trade shows to build business relationships.
- Exploring potential partnerships that can drive growth.
- Identifying new avenues for business partnerships to expand market reach.
Sales Presentations & Proposals
- Creating and delivering compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Customizing offerings and pricing structures based on the client’s needs and requirements.
Others
- To conform with company environmental practices.
- Any other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering
- 2 years and above sales experiences in manufacturing/ equipment industry is preferred.
- Basic software skills such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
- Knowledge about engine/ generator.
- Travel is required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
