  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting the finance function of The Learning Lab.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly financial closing process, including accurate preparation and reporting of management and consolidated accounts.
  • Prepare and review profit or loss and balance sheet schedules.
  • Lead the audit process to ensure prompt and timely completion of the external audit.
  • Oversee tax compliance matters, including liaising with tax agent on the review and filing of corporate tax and GST.
  • Oversee employees claim approval.
  • Handle periodic statutory surveys.
  • Lead a small team and manage their daily finance activities.
  • Optimize finance-related processes and systems to improve efficiency and compliance with internal control and policies.

Other ad-hoc tasks when required.

  • Possesses at least a Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding and proficiency of Financial Reporting Standards with hands-on experience in financial consolidation.
  • Meticulous with an eye for details, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and work within tight timelines.
  • Self-motivated and confident with great leadership skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management with excellent communication skills.
