
Senior Manager/Associate Director (Finance/ HR, Financial industry, up to $18k) (ID:667517)
The role is responsible for the support functions of the organisation, namely, Finance, Office Administration, Human Resources, Legal and Compliance, in collaboration with respective functional heads. Lead, direct and control the organisation’s financial resources to maintain short and long-term financial objectives. Ensure that all functions meet the organization’s business objectives and are conducted in accordance with regulations, accounting principles and company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Direct the preparation of the organization’s financial reports, such as, profit and loss accounts, balance sheet, management financial reports and regulatory filing
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision making that aligns with the organization’s business objectives including preparation of financial budgets
- Regulatory reporting and filing - company tax, GST, Financial Statement, CPF personal tax declaration and clearance, company secretarial matters, etc
- Direct the day-to-day office operation, including travel management
- Direct the Human resources functions, with a reporting line into the CHRO for matters relating to governance, control framework and strategy at Group level
- Manage the Legal function, which includes preparing non-disclosure agreements, letters of engagement and service contracts for the CEO’s signature
- Appointed the Compliance Officer and interface with the local regulators & institutions (MOF, MOM, IRAS, CPF, MAS and ACRA) - co-ordinate the risk and compliance requirement, with a reporting line into the Head of Legal & Compliance for matters relating to governance, control framework and strategy at Group level
- The role has reporting line into the CFO for matters relating to governance, control framework and strategy at Group level
Requirements:
- Degree Level (Finance desirable)
- Certified Chartered Accountant
- More than 10 years experience in financial management
- Brings along experience in Human Resources functions, particularly on payroll and performance appraisal.
- Good understanding of finance, office and corporate management
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
