  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Risk Management, Auditing, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in information security and compliance, Information Technology (IT) audit, consulting, and risk management or compliance in regulated industries.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience with Google Cloud and Security or privacy domain.
  • Experience with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27k family, Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) reports, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) or equivalent information security and privacy compliance certifications.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in cloud computing emerging technologies or related technical fields.
  • Experience in problem solving within changing environments.
  • Ability to motivate programs across business and engineering teams with collaboration and leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate issues.

About the job In this role, you will be collaborating with Google Cloud customers, partners and their regulators leading risk based audits and addressing cybersecurity risks, operational resilience and regulatory requirements with a primary focus on the Google common infrastructure, application services and operating environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Go-To-Market, customer security, risk and compliance functions to help them navigate the journey to cloud usage, remove blockers and address any concerns.
  • Lead cloud security risk, operational resilience and audit engagements requested by Google Cloud’s customers, internal IT audit teams, assigned third party auditors or regulators.
  • Collaborate across Google product engineering, data center operations, and other teams to prepare product roadmaps that will ensure compliance with security regulations.
  • Build relationships with leadership stakeholders, typically in the Go-To-Market teams and across all lines of defense to retain and enhance trust in Google Cloud’s products and services.
  • Review and approve contractual commitments and geo-expansion proposals that impact Google Cloud's control environment, internal policies and procedures and operational capabilities.
