
Assistant Relationship Manager (Commodities Structured Trade Finance Department)
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Relationship Managers in managing and expanding a portfolio of commodity traders, producers, and structured trade finance clients.
• Assist in conducting credit analysis, preparing credit applications, and monitoring trade finance facilities.
• Coordinate loan documentation, collateral management, and transaction execution in collaboration with internal teams such as credit, legal, and operations.
• Conduct KYC/AML due diligence for new and existing clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
• Monitor trade flows, facility utilization, and risk exposures, providing timely updates and recommendations to Relationship Managers.
• Assist in structuring trade finance solutions, including letters of credit, prepayment facilities, borrowing base facilities, and receivables financing.
• Prepare client presentations, marketing materials, and financial reports to support business development initiatives.
• Handle administrative tasks, including client record maintenance, internal reporting, and ensuring timely follow-ups on transactions and client requests.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Business, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in trade finance, structured trade finance, or corporate banking, preferably with exposure to commodities trading clients.
• Knowledge of trade finance products, transaction structures, and risk management practices is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
