Job Description:

- System and Process Improvement: Lead the review and improvement of Centre systems, processes, and operational practices.
- Problem-Solving: Develop preventive strategies to address challenges faced by team leaders within the Centre.
- Budget Management: Manage the Centre’s budget for daily operations, ensuring financial stability.
- Program and Service Excellence: Lead the Centre in driving initiatives that promote service excellence and the development of programs that enhance overall quality.
- Strategic Planning: Guide the Centre in establishing strategic priorities, shaping its culture, and maintaining strong governance.
- Continuous Learning: Develop plans to instill a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and growth within the Centre.
- Vision and Values: Drive the adoption of the Centre's vision, mission, and values, fostering an environment of initiative and enterprise.
- Curriculum and Programme Implementation: Design and implement educational programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning.
- Assessment and Engagement: Enhance structures for assessing children’s learning needs and align engagement strategies with Centre policies.
- Classroom Management: Develop and implement leading strategies for classroom management, ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Health and Safety Advocacy: Advocate for the maintenance of high standards in health, safety, nutrition, and hygiene throughout the Centre.
- Innovation in Teaching: Lead the development of new teaching methods, tools, and assistive technologies based on emerging trends in early childhood education.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster collaboration within the Centre and with external stakeholders, including families and the community.
- Professionalism and Representation: Serve as the Centre’s representative to build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders.
- Partnership Design: Strategically design and implement partnerships with families and community members to enhance the Centre’s programs.
- Professional Practice Upliftment: Lead efforts to enhance professional practice within the Centre through mentoring, professional development, and training initiatives.
Requirements:
- A Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Diploma in Pre-school Education – Leadership and Training (DPE-L/T) or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA).
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in managing preschool centres.
- Proven supervisory experience, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
