Responsibilities & Duties:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and company goals.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and awarding of contracts.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand material and service requirements.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, contract terms, and company policies.
- Maintain and manage supplier and subcontractor relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Prepare and present procurement reports, budgets, and forecasts to senior management.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to procurement, including delivery delays, quality concerns, and contractual disputes.
- Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely payments and accurate financial reporting.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / Civil Engineering or related fields
- At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in procurement of main contractor company, preferably in infrastructure projects
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, analytical mindset, problem solving abilities, as well as keen interest and motivation in a high growth and entrepreneur environment
- A high level of integrity, dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
- Strong contract modeling and MS office software skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
