Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and optimize Li-ion batteries, starting with coin cells and expanding to flexible battery designs.
- Conduct electrochemical testing and performance analysis to understand battery behavior under different conditions.
- Investigate potential causes of battery degradation and performance loss, using advanced characterization techniques.
- Collaborate with materials scientists and engineers to improve battery materials, structures, and performance.
- Contribute to research publications and presentations at conferences.
- Assist in troubleshooting and optimizing fabrication processes.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with more than 3 years of relevant work experience
- Understanding of Li-ion battery chemistry, especially related to degradation mechanisms and performance issues.
- Experience with electrochemical characterization techniques such as cyclic voltammetry, impedance spectroscopy, and charge/discharge testing.
- Knowledge of battery fabrication techniques and failure analysis methods.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to document research findings clearly.
