Requirement

  • Minimum Diploma or higher qualification in any discipline
  • Quick study who is self-motivated and has good organisation skills
  • Preferably 2 to 3 years of working experience in insurance and/or reinsurance claims
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or other computer literacy skills, review and analysis of data

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain good working relationships with business partners (e.g. cedants, brokers, insurers, etc)
  • Handle and book both facultative and treaty claims (proportional and non-proportional) in accordance with the company’s prescribed claims practice and guidelines
  • Validate claims advices and relevant information (emails, adjuster reports, etc) to ensure that the claims are within policy coverage, reserves are catered for as accurately as possible, and any payments are resolved promptly with due diligence
  • Consistent and active follow-up on claims to keep these up to date
  • Diligent recordkeeping of all claims advices and information
  • Provide support to Claim Manager on other tasks or projects
