CQT is hosted by the National University of Singapore. The Centre also has staff at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and the Singapore University of Technology and Design. With some 200 staff and students, it offers a friendly and international work environment.Learn more about CQT atJob DescriptionWe are looking for a capable and motivated Research Fellow to work on integrated quantum photonics. The project aims to develop critical components for photonic quantum information processing. The material platform will be thin-film lithium niobate, and device components include on-chip photon-pair and squeezed-light sources, electro-optic modulators, and integrated single-photon detectors.This position will be hosted by Assistant Professor Di ZHU's group at the Centre for Quantum Technologies, National University of Singapore (NUS). Successful candidates will be involved in, but not limited to, the following activities:
  • Design and fabricate integrated photonic devices
  • Develop and maintain fabrication processes
  • Perform optical and microwave characterization of integrated photonic devices
  • Assist in mentoring graduate students
  • Regularly disseminate research result through reports, presentations, and manuscripts
Qualifications
  • Ph.D. degree (completed or soon to be completed) in Physics, Applied Physics, Material Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant areas
