Project Title: Ecotoxicology biomonitoring of oil impacts using marine molluscs [NParks 14/24 BG]
Project Introduction: This Research Project is part of a Collaboration Agreement between NParks and NTU to study Post oilspill ecological monitoring which is crucial to understanding the ecological impacts and facilitating effective recovery strategies. The project will evaluate the state and recovery of key biodiversity areas and species of interest at existing and newly established long-term monitoring sites across Singapore using existing survey methods of ecotoxicology with the addition of oil spill specific metrics. The evaluation of impact at affected sites will be made against similar unaffected control sites. The surveys will encompass monitoring by researchers and citizen scientists.
Requirements
