What the role is:You develop and enhance operational capability in the domain of service delivery for MINDEF/SAF. Your role involves key responsibilities in operational planning, system management, parliamentary duties, and event organisation.What you will be working on:- Develop the structure, concept of operations (CONOPS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure undisrupted MINDEF/SAF service operations - Draw up plans for refresh, and ensure the availability and relevance of the MINDEF/SAF Intranet systems and processes - Coordinate parliamentary duties and responses for Parliamentary Questions (PQ), Committee of Supply (COS) Debate and other Parliamentary sessions and processes for MINDEF/SAF - Plan and organise National Day Observance Ceremonies at MINDEF Building - Take ownership of assigned areas of work and assist with other tasks/projects as needed for the overall success of the department Challenge(s) - Managing diverse responsibilities from operational planning to event organisationWhat we are looking for:- Education in Business or Information Technology (IT) is preferred - At least 3 years of working experience in organisation planning and development, Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and/or resource planning and management, Business process engineering, corporate IT or web management - Experience in managing operations-type work is an advantageous - Strong inclination for operations work - Good command and control of operations - Strong networking skills - Comfortable with regular interactions with MINDEF senior leadership (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
