- Support projects in relation to partnerships with professional bodies and associations, academic institutions, industry stakeholders and external subject matter experts, to drive thought leadership and establish credibility among eye care professionals.
- Support organization, logistics and coordination of activities with partner organizations for key vision care categories, and other professional relations activities as needed.
- Coordinate and finalize expert content for Leonardo, EssilorLuxottica's learning platform, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Monitor regional and local professional relations activities for consistency and maintain accurate reporting of KPIs.
- Implement best practices for managing professional associations and partnerships.
- Assist in implementing the editorial calendar for medical communication, including global conferences, scientific outreach, and communications related to partnerships.
- Draft engaging content such as press releases, LinkedIn posts, scientific highlight videos, expert interviews, and support articles/publications for professional press.
- Contribute to cross-functional alignment to ensure scientific messages are incorporated into all medical content and communications.
- Manage planning, budgeting, and timelines for professional relations projects, collaborating with external agencies and internal teams.
- Support EssilorLuxottica's partnership at key B2B professional congresses and events to build and strengthen key vision care categories.
- Support cross-functional activities within the team as needed, such as medical education and training. Support medical advisory activities by supporting the medical advisors in the team.
- Work with external agencies to support MPA projects such as development of medical assets, videos, presentations, medical assets such as brochures.
- Internal: R&D, Global Marketing, Leonardo, Corporate Communications, Legal, IP, Compliance, Regulatory, Regional and local Marketing and Medical & Professional Affairs teams
- External: Professional associations, conference organizers, partner organizations, external subject matter experts, creative agencies
- Degree in marketing, business, optometry, opticianry, or science. 6+ years' experience in professional affairs or B2B marketing or communications, in an international environment or in a healthcare environment preferred.
- Some or basic knowledge in optometry and optics is a plus; otherwise, the candidate must have the interest, ability to learn quickly and to retain technical knowledge in optics and vision care.
- Fluent/native English speaker with excellent writing, presentation and verbal communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong project management and interpersonal skills; capable of collaborating professionally with external experts.
- Good team player with strong interpersonal skills and positive mindset.
- Experience and demonstrated skill in the analysis, communication, and presentation of complex scientific data.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint strongly preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment, to work independently on projects and demonstrated ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
- Experience managing creative agencies in a collaborative environment.
