What the role is:The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) aspires to be a world-class organisation in delivering safety and security for our people. The job holder assists Deputy Director (Risk Management / Risk Review) in driving Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) work in MHA via various work streams and activities. He liaises with stakeholders and co-ordinates risk management activities across MHQ divisions and Home Team Departments (HTDs)/ Statutory Boards (SBs) and also drives and strengthens risk culture in MHQ.What you will be working on:Key responsibilities of Exec /Snr Exec (Risk Management) include: • Maintaining MHQ risk register inside Governance, Risk management, Audit and Compliance Enterprise (GRACE) system. • Rolling out plans to increase risk awareness within MHQ and across the Ministry • Supporting and risk workshops or trainings conducted or organised by RMD • Liaising with Risk Management Liaison Officers (RMLOs) on risk matters • Compiling returns for summary reporting at Risk Management Advisory Committee (RMAC) Meetings. • Staffing GRACE meetings and Service Requests, AOR and CV work for improvements to GRACE functionalities. • Serving as secretary and notetaker for RMAC meetingsWhat we are looking for:
  • Preferably 1 to 2 years working experience involved in risk management, data analytics or operations related work. • Certification in risk management would be good but not mandatory. • Highly driven, resourceful, independent, meticulous and analytical. • Good communication and stakeholder management skills. • Good with numbers and proficient in data-based software such as Power BI/Tableau and Microsoft Excel. • Able to use software such as Canva and design simple EDM and posters for risk communications This is a two-year contractual role at the Ministry Headquarters.
