What the role is:We are seeking a dynamic and innovative individual to join the Emergency Planning and Risk Management (EPRM) Branch at NPARKS as a Manager/Senior Manager. In this individual contributor role, you will be responsible for working with organisational stakeholders to coordinate operational risks, incident reporting, crisis management, and emergency planning committees at both NPARKS and Whole-of-Government (WOG) levels. You will have the opportunity to bring fresh perspectives and approaches to enhance our emergency planning and risk management capabilities.What you will be working on:Collaborate with risk owners and leads to review and update operational risks, including SOPs, and plan and conduct exercises and drillsSupport senior management in crisis management, including crisis management team (CMT) activation, operations coordination, and incident reportingParticipate in and contribute to various crisis planning committees at NPARKS and WOG levelsLead key projects related to emergency planning and risk management, including the exploration of in-house crisis management applicationsHandle administrative matters such as procurement and budget management for the EPRM branchServe as a secretariat for operational risk committees and provide support during CMT activationsWork with external agencies to develop innovative toolkits and strategies for risk managementWhat we are looking for:A can-do attitude with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new challengesAbility to think innovatively and propose enhancements, including technology adoption, etc, into emergency planning and risk management processesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholdersExperience in emergency planning, risk management, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatoryCertifications in emergency planning or risk management will be an advantageWe welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds who are passionate about making a meaningful impact in emergency planning and risk management.
