- Oversee legal matters related to APAC operations, including transaction negotiation, governance, and the management of outside counsel.
- Implement and monitor compliance with group and regional policies covering key regulatory areas, ensuring adherence to legal standards across the region.
- Drive continuous improvement and standardization of legal practices within the APAC region, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the legal department.
- JD from an accredited law school, admission to a state bar, or equivalent legal qualifications.
- Experience managing a team strongly preferred.
- 12+ years of legal experience.
- Proven experience as a transactional lawyer, with a strong background in structuring, negotiating, and closing complex transactions.
- Experience within the data center, telecommunications, or a related industry preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts in simple terms to business leaders.
- Practical, business-minded executive with a strategic approach to legal matters.
- Ability to work independently while navigating between strategic leadership and hands-on legal work.
