In this role, you will assist in the design, implementation, and management of URA's cloud infrastructure for both cloud-based and on-premises systems. You will provide support and technical governance, offering expertise related to cloud and on-premises architectures, deployment, and operations. Your primary responsibilities will include: New Cloud Projects • Gather project requirements and propose cloud solution to meet both project & security requirements. • Identify and recommend the best cloud end-to-end architecture, including networking, provisioning, and management that is aligned with URA's cloud reference architecture. • Guide the deployment of Apps from Development, UAT to Production cloud environment including DevSecOps, Security Testing, Audit, etc. Cloud Operations • Regularly examine cloud applications, hardware, and software. • Collaborate with IT security to ensure cloud security. • Assist with infrastructure migration strategies, disaster recover testing, etc. • Perform activities such as deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and management of cloud resources. • Keep track of cloud resource and cloud spent and ensure secure and efficient use of cloud resources. • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts to cater for cloud resources changes and new requirements.What we are looking for:
  • Structured, systematic, and skilled in synthesizing trends and insights to develop creative mitigation plans and solutions for application availability incidents in a collaborative environment • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related disciplines. • Minimum 2-3 years working experience in architecting, designing, developing and implementing cloud (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Service (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)) and on premises (private cloud) infrastructure • Technical experience in at least two of the areas: o Hands on experience with Azure/AWS/GCP o Hands on experience with good proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Redhat) o Hands on experience in building IaC using Terraform and RedHat Ansible Automation Platform o Hands on experience with on premises cloud platform (VMware, Citrix) and backup infrastructure (Veritas) o Hands on experience in configuring cloud components with adequate monitoring and logging. o Hands on experience to support cloud infrastructure Audit and security compliance activities. o Cloud Security experience in implementing or working with essential cloud security tools such as Checkpoint, Security Hub, GuardDuty, AWS Detective • Experience in multi-cloud environment would be considered positively • Good presentation and writing skills. • Organized, systematic and skilled in synthesizing trends and insights and a team player
