- Monitor Production Systems: Continuously monitor the health and performance of production applications using monitoring tools and dashboards.
- Incident Management: Respond to and resolve application incidents, ensuring minimal impact on business operations. Document incidents and their resolutions.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to identify and resolve application issues.
- Performance Tuning: Analyze application performance and implement tuning measures to optimize system performance.
- Deployment Support: Assist in the deployment of new releases and patches, ensuring minimal disruption to production services.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of application support procedures, incident resolutions, and system configurations.
- User Support: Provide support to end-users and stakeholders, addressing their queries and issues related to production applications.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance the efficiency and reliability of application support.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of experience in an application support, system administration or related role
- Hands on technical skills in the following areas:
- Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, SQL)
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Splunk)
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
- Knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows)
- Familiarity of modern cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Kubernetes)
- Possess the following soft skills;

- A team-oriented mindset with a dash of independence
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking prowess
