Job Responsibilities
To oversee and manage the daily Cage operations for an assigned shift and a designated area, enforce internal controls and standard operating procedures. Ensure compliance with all Regulatory reporting requirements and key controls. Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to;
- Schedule training, and cross-train Cage cashiers and supervisors
- Assist in interviewing and hiring staff
- Support the Cage Manager in conducting performance evaluations, as well as in recognizing, rewarding, and mentoring team members.
- Handle customer issues and resolve disputes
- Administer daily transactions and disbursements, verify transactions, authorize telegraphic transfers, check and manage cashier variances in accordance with the established Cage policies
- Verify vault accountability at end of shift
- Observe business requirements and adjust schedules and staffing as needed
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all departments
- Dedicated to consistently go above beyond in fulfilling position responsibilities to contribute towards the achievement of organizational goals.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- High School/ College degree preferred
- Minimum of five years experience in casino business and at least minimum of two years in a supervisory capacity
- Conversant with English and at least one other Asian language
- Provide outstanding guest service by being consistently helpful and courteous to all Guests
- Must possess good knowledge of computers
- Possess a flair for numerical and excellent service and communication skills
- Experience in handling cash and foreign exchange currencies preferred
- Able to operate electronic cashier equipment (e.g. note counters, counterfeit detectors)
- Must be able to perform shift duties and work on weekends and public holidays
