Job DescriptionIndustry/ Organization Type: Marine/ ShipyardPosition Title: Quality Improvement ManagerWorking Location: Benoi RoadWorking Hours: 5 Days, Mon - Fri (8AM - 5PM)Salary Package: Basic Salary + Variable BonusDuration: PermanentResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a comprehensive product quality improvement plan, aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives.Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to identify and analyse root causes of quality issues.Developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent future quality issues.Monitoring and reporting on product quality metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.Conduct audits and assessments to identify and address potential quality risks.Collaborate with suppliers to ensure their products meet our quality requirements.Collaborating with various teams such as engineering, manufacturing, classification societies, and suppliers to ensure consistent quality throughout the product lifecycle.Stay up-to-date on the latest quality improvement methodologies and tools.Track and analyse warranty data for reporting, change implementation to new products and continuous improvementIdentify and communicate process and product improvements.Continually seek to identify areas of quality risk and resolve them before they impact on the vessel.Delivery of regular communications & reports to the Key internal relationships.Establish and maintain high standards of quality and control of cost within budget limits.Carry out customer familiarization of our products.Occasional travel to vessels country operating area to conduct fact finding on their operations and acceptance of our products in operation for quality.Communicate effectively by listening actively, conveying information clearly, and providing constructive feedback across all staff levels while building trust through genuine, respectful, and reliable interactions.Ensure liaison with shipyard personnel and management to maintain product quality, and develop key relationships with partners, customers, contractors, suppliers, and official bodies.Negotiate on behalf of the company, accepting realistic compromises when needed, while building a strong network of industry suppliers and subcontractors.Manage quality improvement documentation, understand vessel specifications and classification rules, handle warranty claims, and pursue continuous personal and professional development, showing accountability for objectives.APPLY NOW!!Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.At least 5 years of relevant experience in quality management within the marine or shipyard industry.Proficient in quality improvement tools and methodologies, such as root cause analysis and preventive action planning.Strong analytical skills to monitor quality metrics, conduct audits, and implement corrective actions effectively.Proven leadership abilities to lead cross-functional teams.
