What the role is:The Corporate Communications and Engagement team at HTA is dedicated to shaping and elevating our organisation's corporate image. We craft and execute integrated communications plans that drive HTA's branding, public relations, and stakeholder engagement. Our objective is to position HTA as a leading, forward-thinking Corporate University of the HT, effectively communicating our vision and impact to both internal and external audiences. We build connections while ensuring that our key messages resonate and inspire.What you will be working on:The job holder is responsible for spearheading initiatives that elevate the impact of our communications plans including content creation and management, media relations and event planning and various engagement activities in HTA. The job scope is as follows: 1. Strategic Communications Planning: a) Develop Integrated Comms strategy and plan in support of HTA's Vision and Mission b) Evaluate and implement initiatives under the HTA Communications Masterplan, ensuring alignment with strategic goals 2. Content production and management a) See through the end-to-end production of the HTA Annual Report to amplify key messages on HTA's transformation journey and our strategic objectives b) Oversee the production and publication of the Home Team Journal to ensure high quality content and continued relevance to our stakeholders 3. Social Media Strategy a) Develop engaging content for social media platforms and coordinate targeted campaigns to boost our digital presence 4. Media Relations and Event Planning a) Plan and execute media engagement strategies for HTA's major events and activities b) Develop compelling news angles and materials including interview talking points for senior leaders 5. Stakeholder Engagement a) Support stakeholder engagement plans and events, to galvanise both internal and external partners to achieve HTA's mission and to enhance the branding of the organisation. These activities include workplan seminars, anniversary event, and HTA's Advisory Panel meetings; b) Establish a good and strong working relationship with internal and external stakeholders, media partners and other Home Team Departments' communications teams; and Other Duties a) Undertake secondary appointments, duties or projects as assigned by the immediate superior and Director Centre for Human Capital and Communications.What we are looking for:The jobholder should preferably possess the following: a) A good University degree (preferably in Mass Communications, Organisational Development or other related disciplines); relevant working experience in corporate communications would be an advantage; b) Strong interest in multimedia communications trends; c) Passion for working with people, with excellent interpersonal and listening skills; d) Articulate, with strong writing and presentation skills; and e) Able to manage projects and timelines concurrently.About MHA - Home Team Academy (HTA):As the Corporate University of the Home Team, the Home Team Academy (HTA) plays a crucial role in the Home Team training and learning ecosystem to develop skilled and future-oriented HT leaders and officers.
