  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are looking for a Research Assistant to join the research group in the School of Materials Science and Engineering. The role will focus on developing novel membrane materials for gas separation applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the conduct of research project with research team members to ensure completion of deliverables
  • Lead research projects
  • Assist in building the lab
  • Collaborate within the group or with other groups for different projects
  • Assist in mentoring students
  • Assist in grant writing
  • Maintenance of lab or equipment or supplies that include procurement and liaison with suppliers
  • Assist or produce high quality reports and documents that consolidate research findings

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related fields
  • Familiarity with 2D materials synthesis, membrane fabrication, and separation applications
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and to setup instruments
