What the role is:You oversee all logistics and financial procedures in the Open-Source Intelligence Exploitation Group (OSIX), including in-house audits, project management, logistics coordination, and accounting for physical inventory.What you will be working on:- Oversee coordination for all logistics requirements - Develop and implement procedures in accordance with financial policies and guidelines - Account for logistics matters and projects with physical inventory - Conduct inventory audits and checks - Ensure proper governance of all finance transactions - Educate and enforce proper financial processes and standards for units - Oversee all financial matters of projects, including yearly auditing Challenge(s) - Developing a deep understanding of MINDEF/SAF's financial policies and guidelines - Offering correct and accurate recommendations - Strengthening accounting and financial governance of procedures and processesWhat we are looking for:- Education in Business, Finance, Logistics or Facility Management is preferred - At least 6 years of experience in a Finance or Logistics Management related field - Good command of written and verbal skills - Knowledge in Logistics, Finance, and Building and Infra System and Processes is beneficial - Strong leadership traits - Critical thinking skills - Good planning abilities - Excellent public relations and communication skills - Ability to collaborate with and manage key stakeholders - Capacity to handle multiple stakeholder demands simultaneously Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.About MINDEF:The mission of MINDEF and the Singapore Armed Forces is to enhance Singapore's peace and security through deterrence and diplomacy, and should these fail, to secure a swift and decisive victory over the aggressor.
