About the Role

The Matrixport trading team is looking for a Trading Assistant to help with the day to day responsibilities of the OTC trading desk. It is an opportunity to be part of a revenue generating team with the possibility of growing into a trading role.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the desk in the day to day running of the OTC desk.
  • Monitor & Log in transaction details throughout trade lifespan.
  • Input counterparty details for trade settlement (fiat and non-fiat).
  • Transfers of tokens (incoming & outgoing).
  • Address creation and management for clients.
  • Communicate with & update clients on settlement progress/queries.
  • Analyze client flows and market trends to improve desk efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Recent graduates with under 2 years of full-time work experience.
  • Graduates from diverse backgrounds are welcomed.
  • Enthusiastic about blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, digital assets, DeFi, and the NFT landscape.
  • Good attention to details and exceptional critical thinking.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, strong sense of responsibility, and teamwork spirit.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and relationship-building skills with internal teams.
  • Dedicated, hardworking, and consistently self-disciplined.
  • Proactive self-starter, adept at navigating ambiguous and high-pressure situations.
  • Fluency in excel.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English, with strong interpersonal and presentation skills; Fluency in Mandarin is a plus.
