Key Responsibilities
The Head of Credit Operations will lead the firm's credit operations team, ensuring that credit activities are managed effectively and efficiently. This includes overseeing the implementation of credit approval processes, ensuring timely processing of credit applications, and ensuring that all credit activities adhere to the firm's internal policies and regulatory requirements. The role requires a deep focus on operational efficiency, risk management, and compliance.

The Head of Credit Operations will be responsible for developing and implementing streamlined credit workflows, ensuring that credit operations are executed in a manner that supports business objectives while minimizing risk. This includes overseeing the execution of collateral management, margin calls, and exposure monitoring. Key Requirements
The ideal candidate for the Head of Credit Operations role will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in credit operations within the financial services or brokerage industry, with a proven track record of managing and optimizing credit operations. The candidate must have strong leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.

A deep understanding of credit risk management processes, collateral management, and margining is essential. The candidate should also be well-versed in regulatory requirements related to credit operations, including capital adequacy, collateral rules, and exposure limits.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required to assess credit risk, manage operational processes, and identify areas for improvement. The candidate should be highly proficient in using credit management systems and tools, and have a solid understanding of financial products and their associated risks.

In addition, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior management, external stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Strong project management skills and the ability to drive change will be an asset in this role.

A degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is required, with relevant professional certifications (such as CFA, FRM) being a plus.
