About The Job
We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our client and support talent acquisition efforts across Asia. You will partner closely with hiring managers across the portfolio companies in Asia to develop and execute talent acquisition strategies that align with their business goals. You will also act as a trusted talent advisor, providing guidance on market trends, recruitment best practices, and organizational talent needs.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:
- End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment process for various roles across the portfolio companies, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and offer negotiation.
- Sourcing: Utilize various channels (LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, etc.) to identify and engage with high-quality candidates. Build and maintain a pipeline of candidates for both immediate and future needs.
- Screening & Interviewing: Conduct in-depth phone and video interviews, assess candidates for cultural fit, skills, and experience, and present a shortlist of top candidates to hiring managers.
- Offer Negotiation: Collaborate with hiring managers to extend offers and negotiate terms with candidates, ensuring alignment with company standards and candidate expectations.
- Consultation with Business Leaders: Act as a trusted advisor to portfolio company leadership on talent-related matters, such as workforce planning, succession planning, and talent retention.
- Market Insights & Trends: Provide market intelligence on hiring trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent availability across the Asia-Pacific region to inform talent strategy.
- Recruitment Strategy: Work with hiring managers to create tailored recruitment strategies that address specific needs of portfolio companies, including building strong talent pipelines for hard-to-fill roles.
- Seamless Recruitment Process: Ensure that all candidates experience a smooth and positive journey from the first point of contact through to the final offer stage.
- Employer Branding: Advocate for the employer brand of portfolio companies, ensuring they are positioned as attractive and inclusive employers in the market.
- Candidate Engagement: Maintain continuous communication with candidates, providing feedback, updates, and support throughout the process to ensure engagement and a positive experience.
- Inclusive Hiring: Champion diversity and inclusion throughout the recruitment process by promoting inclusive practices and expanding candidate pools to include diverse talent.
- Diversity Initiatives: Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to implement programs and strategies that promote diversity within the workforce of portfolio companies.
- Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Build strong relationships with hiring managers and senior leaders to understand their talent needs and ensure alignment on recruitment priorities.
- Regular Reporting: Provide regular updates on recruitment progress, candidate pipelines, and market insights to key stakeholders. Track key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.
- Training & Development: Offer advice and support to hiring managers on best practices for interviewing, candidate selection, and creating inclusive job descriptions.
- Experience: Minimum of 12 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, with a focus on sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent across Asia. Previous experience in a talent advisory role is preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the talent landscape across various industries in Asia, including technology, finance, healthcare, and consumer goods. Familiarity with the unique challenges of scaling companies and portfolio businesses is a plus.
- Sourcing Expertise: Proven ability to source candidates from diverse backgrounds using a variety of platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, talent databases, etc.). Familiarity with niche sourcing tools is an advantage.
- Talent Strategy: Demonstrated experience in advising leadership teams on talent strategy, market trends, and organizational structure.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Deep understanding of cultural nuances and business practices across multiple Asian countries and regions.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
