Job Overview:
The Desktop Technician supports IT service delivery, manages a Service Desk team, and provides on-site and remote L1/L2 support, including dedicated service for 200 VIP users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Ops Manager with IT service delivery operations.
- Lead Service Desk engineers, ensuring SLA compliance and service quality.
- Provide VIP user support, including after-hours service (with advance notice).
- Manage ESM tickets and appointment systems.
- Share knowledge and suggest playbook updates for service improvements.
- Escalate major incidents or dissatisfaction promptly.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma or Degree in IT or related field.
- Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft 365 (Fundamentals/Endpoint Admin), CCNA, ITIL 4 Foundation.
Technical Skills:
- Windows, macOS, iOS, and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Endpoint protection and video conferencing solutions.
- Proficiency with ESM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
Experience and Soft Skills:
- Minimum 3 years managing IT Service Desk operations.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Customer-focused and able to thrive in fast-paced environments.
