Our client is a highly established regional industrial services group currently undergoing strategic business transformation. To support the group's go-forward strategies and its focus in building a future ready workforce, there is now a rare opportunity for a dynamic talent leader to shape and drive the group's Learning and Talent agenda.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the CHRO, this is an exciting role where you will shape and deliver a future focused learning and talent agenda aligned to the group's vision and business goals, ensuring it is an employer of choice. Leading Learning, Talent and Leadership Development, you will conceptualise and implement strategies, frameworks, programs and solutions across domains including capability building, talent and hi-po development and leadership development. This includes developing a world class Training & Development centre working with leading experts. You will work closely with senior business leaders and HR business partners to contextualize to the businesses and markets, and ensure effective communication and execution of initiatives and solutions. You will be a subject matter expert, providing current market insights and thought leadership on best-in-class talent practices.

Requirements

You are degree qualified with demonstrated track record in building and leading Learning and Talent functions in major organisations, preferably with prior talent consulting experience. Experience in developing and leading Training & Development centres will be highly advantageous. You are familiar with both the white and blue collar workforce in the industrial or engineering sector. You have experience in both design and implementation working closely with top management and senior stakeholders. You are a progressive leader who is strategic yet hands on, with strong presentation, influencing and senior stakeholder management skills.
