What The Role Is

As a Manager/ Senior Manager, Contracts in the Infrastructure and Facility Services Division, you will be part of a dynamic team that oversees the costing and procurement of school infrastructure development and facilities management (FM) services.

What You Will Be Working On

  • Develop and recommend procurement policies and processes for construction and FM services, including conducting research and engaging stakeholders
  • Engage and manage consultants and contractors for school development projects and FM services, including calling tenders or quotations, evaluating tender proposals, putting up tender award recommendations for approval and preparing contract documents for awarded tenderers
  • Provide advice to project teams on procurement of construction and FM services and administration of contracts, including reviewing tender or quotation specifications to ensure that the Ministry’s requirements and needs are met
  • Prepare and monitor budgetary cost estimates and cashflow for new school development projects, and analyse cost trends


What We Are Looking For

  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in Quantity Surveying
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of the building industry and regulations
  • Strong collaboration, communication, analysis and writing skills
  • Experience in writing policy papers would be an advantage
