Job Title : Human Resources Manager

Working Location : Metropolis Tower1

Working Hours : 8.30am to 5.45pm or 9.00am to 6.15pm

Basic Salary : S$3,600 to S$3,800

Entitled for 1-month AWS for every 12 continuous months of services

What’s the role?

The Human Resources (HR) Executive is a member of the Employment Services Business (ESB) team for a Co-operatives which has 2 other divisions. He/she will support the General Manager to lead the employment and payroll services team. Ensure smooth operation support to Singapore Shell Employees’ Union Co-operative’s (SSEUC) clients including but not limited to day-to-day transaction relating to recruitment, on-boarding, employee engagement and relations, HRMS and payroll administration with invoicing management.

  • Liaise with SSEUC’s clients on their recruitment needs and to obtain job description of position/s as well as conduct requirements gathering before commencing the end to end recruitment processes.
  • Prepare cost proposal and employment contract for Hiring Manager’s approval when selected candidate accepted the offer
  • Liaise and send employment contract to selected candidate for signature signoff.
  • Oversee the arrangement of the Security Pass to worksite. Safety training if pre-requisite of the job
  • · Ensure the submission of new hires’ details to the company’s insurer for medical insurance coverage.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees, addressing queries and/or issues.
  • Monitor contract period, follow up with employee’s manager on contract renewal,salary increasement and performance review of employees at the end of their contract
  • · Manage the insurance disbursement of medical claims from the company’s insurer to the employee.
  • Handle all exit management processes of out-going (resignation or end-of-contract) employees.
  • Manage the Employee data management and Payroll processes, Tax filing and other payroll functions.
  • Ensure submission of government claims for NS makeup pay, maternity, paternity, childcare leave are done timely
  • Complies with labour laws, regulations and workplace safety.
  • Submit data for surveys and reports to government agencies / statutory boards

What You Will Have:

  • Diploma or degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or its related field.
  • Minimum 4-5 HR experience as a generalist.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and Labour laws.
  • Have passed (CEI) KAH (Key Appointment Holder)
  • Have strong computer literacy and experience to HRMS and Payroll software.
  • Possess good customer service and strong relationship-building skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to provide assist or support to other team members as and when required
