We are seeking an experienced and dynamic a Senior Manager, Technical Solutions to lead the development and delivery of technical solutions across the ASEAN region. This role will focus on Engineering Plastics and Injection Molding Techniques, providing expert guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle-from R&D to the start of production. You will play a critical role in driving customer satisfaction, market expansion, and continuous improvement initiatives within the plastics industry.Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Polymer Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering,
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in plastics injection molding, polymer engineering, or chemical analysis for plastics and chemicals.
  • Technical Skills Required: Deep knowledge of polymer/plastics and injection molding processes.
  • Familiarity with laboratory analysis equipment is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the ASEAN region. Driving experience is an advantage.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business sense with the ability to engage in strategic customer acquisition and project development.
  • Knowledge of CAE tools and design processes for plastics.
  • Experience in failure analysis and troubleshooting of molded plastic products.
  • Familiarity with business operations and marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:Market Research & Analysis:
  • Collaborate with Senior Management to identify new applications and markets for company products.
  • Analyze competitor strengths and weaknesses to shape new business development strategies alongside the Sales & Marketing Team.
  • Collect regional success stories and case studies to assist in promoting company products for new applications or market development.
  • Support the execution of business development and marketing plans to expand market share across the ASEAN region.
Customer Solutions & Support:
  • Lead the team in providing technical solutions and guidance to customers across the ASEAN region during the R&D phase through to the start of production.
  • Manage key accounts, offering recommendations on the selection and application of company products and injection molding techniques to meet customer needs.
  • Oversee cross-functional collaboration for failure analysis and address customer claims and feedback effectively.
  • Work closely with the Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) team to provide cost effective solutions and enhance product manufacturability
New Development & Support:
  • Partner with the CAE team to develop new analysis methodologies based on both short-term and long-term company goals.
  • Support Senior Management in managing the technical team to achieve department targets. o Collaborate with the R&D team in the development of new products, ensuring essential data collection and evaluation for application requirement
Training and Development
  • Provide expert guidance to the team in addressing customer issues, complaints, and feedback to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Organize and conduct technical training sessions for internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders across the ASEAN region.
